Got to the beach and was out by about mid day. Had a great 2 hours in the river, where it was really flat. Wind started to pick up after an hour or so and got some good jumps in. Went in for lunch, then back out for about 3 hours in the waves. Attempted a couple of backloops which failed and i wiped out, nearly losing my board once but luckily the waves took it in to the beach !! Saw one of the other kiters lose their board, but luckily a windsurfer found it quite a way out a few hours later !
